This rare wine is made from 70% riesling, with the balance a blend of pinot gris, gewürztraminer, and muscat; classic first nose with lots of rubber aromas, then lots of sweet fruit and tropical aromas, touch of honey and spices; big and fleshy wine with lots of tropical fruit flavors, lots of powerful acidity at the core; minerals and complex flavors; lemony and viscous; beautiful balance. Powerful nose with classic aromas, at first lots of petrol and rubber, then opens to show aromas of rich sweet fruit, quite dense, powerful and penetrating nose; less depth in the mouth, there is a lot of fruit on the first taste, but then there is a tectonic shift to dryness, and the wine has a dry, almost dusty core; nice finish but fades out somewhat at the finish.
