Recently, we had Wine Shop at Home come in and give us a tasting to a large group of our friends. They brought in six wines (3 whites, 3 reds), and our hostess was very charming and knowledgable. This note is for their Mariana Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, which was typical of Napa Cabs with it's bold, red fruit and toasted oak. It was pleasant, tannic, and paired well with a gorgonzola I picked up for the tasting. The finish was nice and lengthy. It was not terribly complex, but I think the idea behind their company is not to sell wine at $80, but to enjoy at a low price and pair well with food. $15. By the way, you can only purchase their wine through their personal consultants, so don't go looking for it in your local wine hut.
