A toasty, yeasty, organic grape Cava with butterscotch, vanilla and baked fruit aromas. The palate has good balance, while the flavors are citric but not sour, with pineapple and orange leading the fight. Clean and not complicated, but more elegant than the average Spanish sparkler.

Fresh, dry and elevated by any conventional cava standards. The nose breathes lime, green apple and spice notes, while the palate is crisp, peppery and lightly toasted. Apple and controlled citrus are the fruit components, and then a light yeasty character arises on the finish. A pretty, feminine brut nature to drink now and over the next few years.

"Elegant for what it is," this Cava is soft yet zippy in the mouth, with rich apple, honey and pear flavors. More honey and pear flavors. More honey, plus hay and mocha notes unfold on the bouquet. Finishes with grassy, creamy notes. A straightforward, affordable Cava.

Good rosé Cava with complex aromas of strawberry, cocoa powder and spring air. Well put together across the palate, with plenty of quality fruit flavor, especially nectarine. Robust but balanced, and juicy and fresh to the final drop. Very good Spanish Cava made from Pinot Noir.

Aromas of spice, apple and yeast give it a semblance of elevated Cava, while the palate deals sweet white fruit flavors that are generally fresh except for a slight mealiness. Sugary on the finish, with a dry herbal accent. A little dead in terms of bubbles and bead.

Dry, smoky and lightly fruity, this Pinot Noir-based Cava is about as good as it gets in the price range. The nose delivers distant brown sugar and burnt leaves, while the palate lays on the orange rind, peach and cherry skin flavors. Try this classy sparkler; you won’t be disappointed.

Toasty, yeasty and quite composed given the price point. If you like green apples, ripe pears or lychee fruit, chances are you’re going to like this well-blended and fairly smooth Cava. It’s persistent and structured enough to go with appetizers or main courses.

Basic apple aromas start it off, with a bit of lime coming in late. The palate is a touch boring and slightly heavy, with soft bubbles and thick, conventional apple flavors that turn sweet and mealy with time. Finishes with some baked corn and herbs.

More open than many, with lemon-lime aromas that work as a nice entry. Full in the mouth, where mixed fruits mesh together. The back palate offers drier citrus on top of a smooth, creamy body. Finishing notes of green herbs and lettuce are welcome. Imported by Jorge Ordoñez Selections.

Dusty and with nice apple and spice aromas. The palate, however, is quite flat and devoid of a lively bubble bead. Flavors of pear and melon run sweet, while the finish is dull and lacks effervescence.
