Those who scoff at the lesser lights of Burgundy should try this wine; rich black fruit aromas, deep sweet wafting scents of earth and wood, smoke, touch of floral aromatics; sweet and dense black fruit in the front of the mouth, black cherries predominate; nice tannins and good terroir here; not very complex, but it has layers of flavor and good balance; perhaps not the compelling depth of the great ones, but then the price of this wine makes it a terrific bargain; I would drink it anytime.
