The typical Merlot qualities of soft spice and gamy notes apply here in this wine from Greece, with the addition of the slightly smoky and bitter quality found in some Greek red wines. Good balance and oak integration make this an interesting red on it own or paired with roasted lamb or chicken souvlaki.
