Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Smooth, ultra-rich, ripe wine, packed with dense but sweet tannins, warm southern herbs and black plum flavors. There are layers of toasty wood here, blending well with the fruit tannins. The effect is big, powerful, but there is acidity as well, just edging the concentration.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Intense wine, full of ripe but juicy fruit, layering spices, herbs, soft tannins and fresh red berry acidity. Well-proportioned, well-balanced despite its relatively high alcohol. The aftertaste is warm, rich, herbal.

Light pink in the glass with soft aromas and flavors of strawberry and blueberry. Delicate and refreshing; a great choice for hot summer days.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Vibrant and juicy with red cherry and blueberry playing well alongside notes of thyme and soft pepper spice. Medium weight in the mouth with soft grain tannins, solid acidity, and a finish that leaves a delicious raspberry syrup flavor lingering until the next sip. Drink now or hold for a year.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Dark, lush and brooding, this is a beautiful wine with tons of character and potential. Right now, the components are bold and powerful: deep red plum flesh, raspberry, fresh-ground coffee granules, cedar, garrigue spice and cocoa. The tannins are firm and the the finish is long with flecks of pepper shining through. A beautiful wine that can be drunk now or held for another 2–4 years.
