A bit fizzy, with a nose reminiscent of lemon-lime soda. Yet while it tickles, it manages to please. The palate offers nice honeydew and nectarine flavors, which are backed by a frothy, creamy finish. Fresh and balanced.

Dosed heavily to be sweet, but still very nice. Look for ripe melon and sugared citrus on the palate, followed by a thick finish that toes the line on cloying but manages to avoid stepping on it. Not quite as clean as the bodega’s normal semisweet cava.

A touch bland. Flavors of lime, apple and almond are drying, while the finish is light, bordering on watery. Lacks zest and character, but still tastes pretty good.

Well balanced from start to finish, with rubbery, attractive aromas that also offer some smoke and cream nuances. The palate is crisp and packed densely with ripe fruit, primarily sweet apple. Its mouthfeel is a strong point.

Out of the ordinary, so it’s hard to gauge. To enjoy this you have to appreciate the off-dry style that features residual sugar and overt sweetness. In that sense, it’s a lot like White Zin. Assuming that’s not your bag, it won’t score big. Imported by Haro Imports.

Light and generally unexpressive, with peach and melon aromas. Basic honeydew and nectarine flavors lead to a waxy, grippy palate that carries some pineapple and banana flavors. Sweet but not overly. Imported by Haro Imports.

The bouquet is flowery, with a full note of lime. The mouthfeel is a touch heavy and sticky, but the citrus (primarily orange) flavors are good. A light and easy cava.

Quite open, with a candied nose that’s slightly aggressive. Nice on the palate, with melon, peach and nectarine flavors. Finishes in fresh, playful fashion. Zesty and good, and ultra clean.
