Burnt and roasted aromas come in front of tart cherry and cranberry flavors. Very monotone in its attack, and a bit hot and wiry.

This wine from the Garbelletto winery is juicy and basic. It has good fruit, smoky qualities and some coffee and chocolate. Is it structured like a major-league Barolo? No. But for drinking now, it delivers some true-form character and flavor.
