A very fine Syrah, dark, full-bodied and tannic, but be forewarned, it needs time in the cellar to mellow. Shows dramatically ripe flavors of blackberries, black currants, plums, violets, grilled meat and smoky oak, accented with lots of black pepper. Better 2010–2014.
