Deep nose, loaded with fruit, but also complex with tobacco leaves, licorice, cedar, and smoke; smooth as silk on the palate on the first taste showing beautiful integration and balance; surprisingly light in the middle of the mouth, but certainly not lacking in the important elements of an elegant wine; the tannins are still a bit bitter, but some bottle age will solve that; long finish, polished and lingering; this wine has a reputation, and it is deserved. (19.5/20)
