Classic nose, opens with the classic aromas of stewed cabbage and sauerkraut, but then becomes sweeter and with more spice notes throughout, nicely herbed; sweet and forward with lemon and lemon peel flavors; the wine has a lot of texture, bordering on thick with a nice viscosity and density; almost seems fat, but stops short of that with a dry lemony edge that sharpens the focus; long finish. Sweet nose with traces of honey, ripe fruit, citrus and a hint of tropical notes, light minerality; sweet and smooth in the mouth; lots of sweet fruit at the front of the wine, not very complex or expressive though, and missing some depth that would give the wine more interest; pretty much in the front of the mouth with ripe fruit, and then tends to be a bit flat in the mid-mouth without much interest for the palate; certainly a very acceptable wine, but not one that compels seeking a repeat. Initial nose is light and lemony, but then the aromas pick up depth and body, producing wonderful rich aromas of honey and butterscotch with thick and exotic scents, slightly perfumed, touch of minerality; smooth and ripe in the mouth, not very complex but with considerable flavor; lemon and lime flavors mix with sweet fruit; nice finish, lots of flavor, simple but good.
