An obviously aged nose, but still intact with aromas of honey, mixed herbs, minerals, and smoke, interesting lemon custard aromas in the background; light and herbal in the mouth, this wine has definitely lost a step or two; still has lots of fruit, good lemon acidity, but also a bit bready and murky in the mouth; long finish still with lots of lemon and earth tones, and obviously quite good for the age of the wine. Very rich and lush nose with ripe fruit aromas mixed with green herbs and spices, very aromatic; sweet and round in the mouth; there is a lot of fat in this wine, but it is almost too round and rich; lacks crispness on the palate; the wine has weight without focus. (16/20)

Light nose, quite perfumed and aromatic, although wafting and elusive, sweet fruit with mineral notes, flowers, green herbs, white pepper and oleander although intertwine to create a beguiling presence; surprisingly sweet and fat, ripe and rich with big forward fruit flavors; lacks a crispness though and seems a bit muddled at the end.
