Shows a wealth of cherry, raspberry and chocolate flavors spiced with pepper and cinnamon, but high alcohol and possible residual sugar make it too sweet and Porty for a dry table wine.

Too sugary sweet, with jellied flavors of cherries and spices. More like a dessert wine than a dry table one.

There?s a caramel and butterscotch aroma, and then the wine turns a bit thin in the mouth, with modest citrus flavors that finish dry and tart.

Very soft and low in fruity concentration, this Syrah has modest flavors of cherries and anise. The thinness accentuates the alcohol, which gives it a hot feeling.

This is pretty heavy and full-bodied for a blush, and a little low in acidity. The flavors are sweetly ripe, of raspberries, cherries and red plums.

Awfully high in alcohol, but it wears it well, with fat, glyceriney flavors of blackberry and cherry jam, chocolate, anise, red currants and sweet oak. Drink this Port-like wine after dinner, in front of a warming fire on a winter night.
