Somewhat viscous, yet searingly bright, with orange, clove, peach, pear, apple and lemon flavors at the fore. Zippy bright to the end, it's fun to drink, but lacks balance.

The nose is meaty, with smoky black-fruit notes. But it’s also overtly vegetal, as is the palate, which struggles to deliver plum and berry fruit amid a field’s worth of green. Texture-wise, it’s smooth and fulfilling, but it doesn’t rank at the next level due to its strong herbal core.

Cassis and spice lead this medium-bodied, garnet-red selection from Hudson Valley's Millbrook. There's some depth and backbone on the palate, with a touch of lightly oaky vanilla, plum and blueberry to add to the mix, but the finish is lean and overall, the wine's impression is somewhat fleeting. Nonetheless, would pair well with roasted meats and poultry dishes.

A pleasing, light textured wine that shows lovely peach, pear, floral, mineral and spice notes. Fresh and clean on the palate, it would be a fine match for picnics or seafood.

A blend of pear, peach and banana flavors is followed by a citrus-like finish. The wine is zippy on the finish, but a little short.

The color is more brown than would be expected at this age, but flavors are still young, albeit candied. Red cherry and root beer aromas lead to sweet, tart cherry flavors.
