Opulent nose of blackcurrant and tar/asphalt/coffee. Sharp blackcurrant attack, with firm tannins. Went very well with a burger. Plenty of cedar, tobacco. Less fruity than many CA cabs. Some pencil lead, overall well balanced. I think very good to excellent QPR, and would buy again.

"This is ripe and concentrated yet polished and refined, with layers of dark cherry, blackberry and briar caressed by suave toast, vanilla and mineral notes. Long and fleshy through the finish, which shows solid grip. Contains 7 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and 3 percent Viognier. Drink now through 2009."

Wine Spectator 92 Rating #30 of Top 100 for 2007 - Outstanding! As good as any red wine I'ver tasted! Kim loved it too! I will definitely get more. A great wine at a great price. Bursting with flavor. Beautiful color, great bouquet and excellent taste. Great without food as well. ***** Five stars!
