A very ripe Zinfandel that shows plenty of briary, brambly aromas and flavors and a robust mouthfeel. Packed with puckery tannins, the flavors of wild blackberries, cherries and raspberries are spiced with black pepper, nutmeg and clove.

A good, fairly sophisticated young Pinot Noir. Tasted in May, it was a little taut, rough and minty, but satisfied for its silky texture and cherry, red currant, red licorice and cola flavors. Best now–2010.

Very ripe and a little heavy, this Pinot has impressive flavors of crushed blackberries and cherries, with a spicy, licorice and cola finish. Drink now through 2010.
