This red blend is 70-30 Nero d’Avola and Syrah that sees four months in French oak. Offers notes of blackberry, leather, tobacco, black pepper and a hint of burnt rubber that some may find interesting and others less so. This Nero d’Avola has small doses of berry fruit and too many sharp points (including black rubber and Band-Aid aromas) to make it totally enjoyable. It lacks finesse and has a slightly bitter note on the close. Imported by J. V. Importers.
