What I like about this wine is that it is outwardly flirtatious yet prudent. Aromas of fresh strawberries with a touch of oak, medium bodied, round juicy flavors of cherry, pomegranate, and plum. Perfectly balanced acidity leads to a lengthy finish in which spice box flavors awaken on your tongue.

Nello’s Primitivo will knock your socks off. Dark Burgundy in color, it’s as luscious as a Zinfandel, without being syrupy, lean enough to be European in character while being unequivocally Californian.

A blend of Sangiovese & Merlot, it has the classic Napa Valley juiciness coupled with Old World charm and elegance.

Light aromas of prunes and raspberries on the nose. On the palate, flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum. Medium to full bodied with bright acidity. A little muted on the mid palate but comes back with rising acidity and fruit on the finish.

Great wine but make sure you have something to cut it with. Enjoyed it with some fabulous cured meat. Big and bold with tons of flavor. Wild strawberries on the nose with hints of ripe blackberries. Definitely a hot wine. Throws a bit of sediment but fantastic nonetheless!

Lots of ripe, ripe raspberry on the nose with a hint of spice. Nice body, round, soft yet flavorful. Great wine to be sipping at 5pm on a Tuesday.
