Nickolaihof produces intense, full-flavored Rieslings that age more quickly than Wachau Rieslings from further west. This is a silky, creamy wine, full of white fruit flavors, seared through with crisp acidity, enormously concentrated, with a bone-dry finish.

A beautiful wine that manages to have a great panoply of rich fruits and spices along with pure green apple acidity. It is intense, but so balanced and poised.

Like many Nikolaihof wines, this one needs aging. It is beautifully textured, very perfumed with white currants and wildflower flavors followed by bright, steely acidity. Give this at least five years.

The biodynamic estate of Nikolaihof is one of the oldest in the Wachau. The tradition is upheld by the Saahs family, who make wonderfully intense wines. This TBA is so fresh and lively that the sweetness only forms a part of the beautiful citrus and apricot fruits.

A fine, dry combination of richness and freshness, with intense green fruits, showing some spice but mostly a pure line of acidity, ripeness and a tight edge of apple skins. There is a great, juicy finish, clean and fresh.

This has all creamy crispness, featherlight, a wine that floats onto the palate. There is some tight acidity, but the fresh white fruits are soft, ripe, open, already ready to drink. This is a great summer apéritif wine. Screwcap.

From Nikolaihof’s reserve library collection, this is living, vivid proof of the aging ability of Grüner Veltliner. The wine is still fresh, a lively line of acidity giving bite and shape to flavors of fresh almonds, dried fruits and a rounded final caramel taste. This is a wine to savor, to sip and relish.

A wonderfully perfumed wine, the floral Riesling character just flying out of the glass. Those perfumes start a wine that has a tight, intense mineral character given a fine edge from acidity. But there are also secondary flavors of dried fruits, spices, violets. The finish is dry, crisp, delicious.
