The taste of this is exactly what I look for in a Zinfandel; it had a spice and a nice bold kick to it. We didn't pair this with anything specific as it was our Sunday Football wine but it went reasonably well with teh Brie/Apricot Chutney combo that we were snacking on. The only issue I had with this is the alcohol content. I generally don't mind the higher alcohol content wines, but at 16.4%, I could feel this after the first glass which isn't something I necessarily want.
