Dark, meaty and mellow on the nose, with blackberry and a distant hint of tomato leaf. It’s a fraction candied and scratchy in the mouth, but the mildly herbal plum and cherry flavors are solid. Sweet and slightly smoky on the finish, with fading substance the longer it goes.
