Stemmy on the nose, with a strong blast of burnt leaves. The palate is cleaner and easier to appreciate; it offers healthy raspberry and cherry fruit backed by a peppery, medium-length finish. Despite being stemmy, the wine has its merits, led by mouthfeel.
