First nose is filled with black fruits, spices, smoke and earthen scents mixed with a rough, rocky set of aromas; sweet and ripe in the mouth, smoke and wood, earth, lots of spices, black pepper, good focus of fruit that is a mix of black cherry and citrus fruit flavors; medium finish; this is not a heavyweight, but provides good flavors and an enjoyable wine that is very characteristic of the region.
