Wonderful nose of strawberries and chocolate covered cherries, perfumed oriental spices mixed with earth and powdered cinnamon, very aromatic; sweet fruit in the front of the mouth, but defined by big dry tannins at this time; there is a lot of exotic flavors, however, with chocolate and cherries, ripe fruit; mulled wine; the finish, however, seems to collapse onto itself, and there is an abundance of hot, dry and hard tannins that make for a spicy and but difficult ending.
