Deep and rich nose with deeply spiced flavors that have chocolate, cracked black pepper, tobacco, rubber, leather, and subtly presented sweet spices, all of this backed up with nice aromas of black fruits and cassis; the same sweetness and ripeness carries over into the mouth; becoming more earthen and citric as the wine sits in the glass; the wine then picks up elements of pepper, dry earth and clay to mix with the fruit in the wine; not a subtle or complex wine, but certainly full-flavored.
