Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Soapy aromas of bee’s wax and lavender open the nose of this luminous sparkler and are followed by dried flowers and hay. There are peach-like flavors with aftertastes of green melon and lime. Grapes are grown organically and according to biodynamic principles.

This is a hard Prosecco to score. You expect the soft freshness and peachy tones that normally define this category of Italian sparkler, yet here, you get a more sophisticated and slightly oxidized expression. The vintage bubbly is made with organically farmed grapes (no sulfites) and offers aromas of pear and apple cider. Not for everyone.

Canah Brut Prosecco exhibits a slightly more saturated golden color and intense notes of mature peach, dried apricot with delicate mineral tones in the background. This rich sparkler is fatter and denser than most Proseccos and boasts an attractively low price tag.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
This organic Prosecco is very focused on soapy, floral aromas that recall lavender honey, honeysuckle and ripe melon. But it also has pretty opulence, or roundness despite its spicy acidity.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
This luminous Prosecco Brut, made from certified, organically grown grapes, delivers aromas of ripe citrus and peach. It offers playful herbal accents that give it personality and depth, but there are also pungent, mature fruit flavors that stop the sparkler short of excellence despite the high quality of its fruit.

This Prosecco Extra Dry, made from organically grown grapes, lacks tonic freshness but delivers flatter, broader tones of peanut skin and mature stone fruit. It has almond flavors backed by stone fruit and a slightly sour note on the finish.

Here’s an organic Prosecco with a wide variety of adjectives that can be attributed to its aromas: peach, lemon blossom, white peppercorn and talc powder. It boasts good personality and freshness on the close.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Here’s an intriguing wine with many interesting contrasts: It offers mineral dryness on the nose and sweet fruit in the mouth; and a lean tonic feel against opulent texture. This organic sparkler has a fine, chiseled quality and a pretty ensemble of flavors.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Fruit for this luminous Prosecco comes from an organically farmed vineyard and creates the base for a pristine and lively sparkler. The bottle is closed with a cloth and string (as Veneto tradition dictates) and offers fragrant tones of fruit and flowers.
