Restaurant bottle (mon Ami Gabi, Chicago). Opened and poured. Tasted a closed young wine and requested it to be decanted. In just 15 minutes it had improved immensely. by the last glass (just two of us), it was very delicious. Tannins had softened and fruit opened up to reveal quite and excellent CdP. This wine showed the brightness of 2003 and had less leather and smoke than most fine CdP's. The overall taste was quite excellent, whether typical or not.
