Big nose, lots of dense, sweet fruit, cassis, tar, smoke and extracted fruit, powerful and expressive; dense and sweet in the mouth; still with powerful, chewy tannins that tend to dominate the flavors in the mid-mouth; very ripe and expressive; long tannic finish that shows some signs of age but still an impressive wine.
