Podere Canalino makes just over 200 cases of Brunello and offers a rustic, but genuine interpretation of the wine. There are dark, vinous aromas of black currants and red apple backed by old spice and pipe tobacco. It’s slightly tart and bitter in the mouth and the tannins need a few more years to soften.
