A Bordeaux blend sourced from several Red Mountain vineyards. Firm and tight, it has good balance and a mix of rather pale red fruits. The palate impression is good at first, but quickly fades; the wine seems to lose focus as soon as it hits the tongue.

Spicy entry, with cinnamon and barrel spices pushing the generic red fruit flavors into the background. The blend mixes Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot, from diverse appellations; it doesn’t quite knit together into a focused wine. The finish is tannic and generic.
