Toffee, caramel and spice dominate a wine that already tastes more of secondary flavors than fruit. There is a dry tannic character with a dusty texture and a final flourish of acidity.

A dry, power-packed Port from one of the Symington-owned brands. The wine is dense, structured, and full of big, firm fruit flavors. A touch of stalkiness is a discordant note. Imported by Domaine Select Wine Estates.

A dry, fruity wine, burnt with acidity and somewhat unbalanced spirit. It's firm, dry, but rather dull.

A deliciously rich, sweet and youthfully fruity wine that has an opulent feel to it. There is a juicy element, with fresh acidity, but most of the character comes from the ripe fruit, the jelly character and the sweet tannins. It needs more bottle age.
