This traditional quinta, close to Pinhão, still uses lagares for vintage Port. There certainly is a rustic character to the wine, but at this stage it is still very restrained, only giving hints of red berry fruits. Imported by Louis Dressner Selections.

One of the pioneers of single-quinta Ports under the ownership of the Roseira family, Infantado’s wines can be impressively powerful. This wine from the great 2000 vintage has power, but it also has great structured tannins, piled with firm, ripe fruit. It’s packed with potential to age over the next 10–15 years.

Infantado has produced a 1995 full of ripe tannins, powerful black fruits and sweetness. There is a layer of dryness but the ripeness and sweetness means the wine is ready to drink now.

A medium-weight perfumed wine, with soft fruit and mature tannins. The lavender and wild flower perfumes are followed by flavors of sweet fruit, finished by a shot of dryness.

A charming, easy style of wine, with ripe black berry fruits, lifted with red plum skins. While it is not big, the tannins do give a firm, tight structure. Not for aging, it is already well balanced.
