Here, you get upfront honeydew, apricot, pineapple, white peach, green apple and tangerine flavors wrapped in a creamy texture. Finishes with a softening touch of sweetness.

Pineapple and pear aromas lead into sweet, clean fruit flavors. The wine is a touch sweet, but it also has an interesting chalkiness in the mouth. Simple clean fruit on the finish. Cleanly made, but not very lively.

Offers an attractive nose of white peach, pear, lime and anise, but fails to come through with much substance on the palate. Simple and buttery-slick in the mouth, it shows some spicy notes but not much else, and turns a bit hot on the finish.

A bright textured Cabernet, loaded with blackberry, licorice, black cherry, tar, herb and smoky toast flavors. Tannins are a bit powdery, but fine nonetheless, with a long, clean finish.

From a small estate vineyard comes this lush, complex and delicious 100% Cabernet. It’s concentrated in cassis flavors enhanced with oak, and displays classic Napa tannins that are rich, ripely sweet and ageworthy. It’s a joy to see veteran Raymond continue to produce great Cabernet in Napa Valley.

A young, vigorous Cabernet, brimming with acidity and jammy blackberry, cherry, herb and black currant fruit flavors. The tannins have an edginess that suggests a year or so in the cellar.

Classic Raymond, a soft, elegant Cabernet the equal of wines costing much more. With a smooth, velvety mouthfeel, it has flavors of blackberries, coffee, herbs and sweet new oak, and finishes very dry. Keep it for a year or two and it will be better.
