A pretty good Tempranillo-Garnacha blend with simple but fresh berry and plum aromas. The palate has snap but no overt acidic bite, while flavors of cherry and berry are slightly herbal and end with a mild buttery accent. A touch flimsy but keeps it together.

There’s a nice shine to this slightly sweet but solid rosé out of Navarra. The bouquet is fresh for the most part, while the palate offers lively raspberry, citrus and melon flavors. A touch of residual sugar is sweetening things up, but overall it’s very drinkable. Open right away or wait for the 2008 to arrive next summer.

A little spice and cured meat (salami) get this young and easy red going. The blend is common for Navarra, and this is a jammy, mildly candied wine with light strawberry and plum flavors touched up by a dollop of sweetness. Slightly creamy on the palate and finish, but healthy as a whole.
