Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Fresh but faint aromas of hay, candlewax and grass open this honest but simple effort. The palate lacks intensity but displays a bit of a mineral streak. Disappointingly short on the finish. Imported by Nelwood Wines.

Approachable and harmonious, this Cabernet offers leather and barnyard notes on a restrained nose while plum and earth on the palate are surrounded by creamy-soft tannins. Surprisingly long finish. Try with roasted veal.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Shows some slightly green tomato-leaf and bell-pepper notes as well as hints of leather and hung game, but despite all that, there’s also ripe cassis and chocolate flavors and a supple mouthfeel. Imported by MHW,Ltd.

Woodsy and jammy at the same time, the nose on this wine draws you in while the cherry and berry soup flavors on the palate keep your interest going. Soft tannins make for easy near-term drinking. Pair with pork or beef in a rich barbecue sauce.
