A wonderful big, ripe, rich nose, tar and ripe black fruits, licorice, green pepper, deep and complex aromas; sharply focused and laser sharp; big ripe fruit flavors showing the best of the old-style California flavors; cassis and blackberry jam; powerful in the mouth still with no sign of fading; good acidity and fruit at the finish; a wonderful wine and a great example of the ageworthiness of these older Cabernets.
