Easy, fruity and softly tannic, showing which shows fresh redcurrant fruits. Like many Alsace Pinot Noirs, it lacks power, but replaces that with a vibrant fruity, juicy character.

An almost racy, aromatic wine, all fresh acidity before the spice and tropical fruits kick in. In a curious way, it is the most readily drinkable of the three Gewürztraminers that Rieflé produces, precisely because the richness of the fruit is balanced with the acidity.

Exotic aromas of smoke and fresh white fruits make this wine immediately attractive. On the palate, fresh fruits dominate, with some full flavors to round the wine out. An easy style of wine, just pushed forward by spice. Imported by Broadbent Selections, Inc.

This wine has power and concentration rather than sweetness. Velvet-smooth, it shows some spice, acidity and lychees and just a touch of toastiness. It?s a delicious food wine, ready to develop over three to five years. Imported by Broadbent Selections, Inc.

Gewürz is always the easiest of grapes to spot, and this wine has all the right varietal characteristics—the floral character, the lychee flavors and the surprising pink grapefruit and sugary acidity. It is not sweet, but is definitely rich.

There’s a funky, waxy edge to this wine that adds complexity to its honeyed melon, lime and pear aromas and flavors. It’s quite full-bodied, and carries a bit of residual sugar as well, making it a prime candidate to match with mild curries and the like.

From the Côte de Rouffach area, this is a wine that’s eminently alive. Apricot, nectarine and mango comprise the all-fruit nose and palate. All in all, it’s like a peachy parfait. If you dig deep you’ll find some of those custard, stone and petrol nuances that give Alsace Rieslings their character.

Features honeyed, overripe melons that carry only a hint of botrytis. Quite sweet and rich, it’s forward, showing plenty of charm while lacking the depth and backbone to improve. Drink now.

A round and attractive white wine with slightly musky pear and sweet hay aromas that open to melon and mild peach flavors. The pear element returns along with a slight spicy note on the clean finish, which shows good length.

With its impressive depth of flavor, this has all the right aromatic, mineral and pure fruit character of Alsace Riesling. There is structure, dry tannins, green fruits, currants and a great lifted, vibrant character. This will age well—give it five years.
