Chalk, and leather aromas are dry and earthy. The flavors of cherries with tar and dusty oak lead to a rich juicy finish with big, but non aggressive tannins.

Under this leadership of the Vitali sisters, Rocca di Fabbri has released a gorgeous ruby red Sagrantino with loads of spice, tar, dried prunes and vanilla. This grape makes some of the most beautifully colored wines in Italy. Twelve months in stainless steel and 18 months in wood, of which 70% in oak and 30% in barrique.
