Hits the mouth with a disagreeable sharpness that accentuates the tannins, making it harder to appreciate the cherry, blackberry and currant flavors. The fruit and oak are fine, but the texture needs fine tuning.

Actually its "Cabiovese"-- 75% Sangiovese, 25% Cab from two Livermore Vineyards (2004-6) Deep plum color & nose with a hint of spice. Great chianti-type blend.
