Rich and elegant nose, layered and very expressive with complex aromas that include sweet ripe fruit, metal shavings, black pepper, earth, truffles, plums, cherry jam; deep and rich in the mouth, still quite fresh and balanced; black cherry fruit flavors mix with woods and earth in a mélange of sophisticated flavors; sweet finish, lots of sugar in this wine, and I hope it is all natural; not the most complex of wines, but a wonderful mouthful of jammy fruit at the end. This is still very young and only shows a bit of what it has, it has sweet black fruit aromas mixed with cracked pepper and earth, touch of smoke; sweet fruit in the mouth, very well-composed, quite forward at this stage; dense and rich with loads of fruit; this is pretty well made for a village wine and should evolve well in the next few years; soft tannins complete the picture at the finish. Powerful and complex nose, opens with the scent of green pepper and black pepper, deep black fruit aromas, tar and citrus notes, quite profound; soft fruit in the front of the mouth, but then quickly becoming dry and tannic; very tight in the mouth with layers of citrus fruit; this wine is hard and unyielding now and more time in the glass did little to open the flavors; it did get sweeter with time, but this did not send me rushing to get more. Rich and intense nose, classic aromas of earth and black cherries, tannins, smoke, still pretty closed; this wine is still very tight and there is little nuance, but there is a core of deep red and black fruits, dense tannins, and rich structure, all of which is evident now; the wine remains somewhat elusive at this early stage, but there is a lot of quality here, and it should evolve well. (18 but could go higher)

Deep and rich aromas, quite gripping, lots of cracked black pepper aromas, sweet black cherries, smoke, earth, acidity; quite elegant in the mouth with a perfumed fruit quality to the flavors; rich and showing a lot of ripe deep fruit with a mix of cherry and plum; some drying tannins show up in the mid-mouth, but they remain restrained enough not to overpower the wine; not the most sophisticated of these wines, but a good one. (16.5/20)
