Very nice nose, elegant, spicy with green and black peppercorns and sweet fruit, quite perfumed and floral with hints of lilacs and hyacinths; sweet and light, well-made wine; black cherry fruit flavors mix with earthen and slightly woody tastes; balanced and smooth, and does not seem to have the extra shot of acidity that ruins many of the California pinots; long finish, well integrated.
