This bright Brunello is accented by a few sharp points of acidity that will soften with more years of bottle aging. On the nose, the wine shows layers of wild berry, bramble, white mushroom, moist earth and pressed violets.

Roberto Giannelli’s bright Brunello delivers bold aromas of black fruit and spice. The wine is layered and intense but it’s definitely on the extra-ripe side with chewy succulence and a thick, meaty texture in the mouth. It would make a good companion to hearty beef stew.
