Here’s a very rich, layered Sauvignon Blanc from this warmer part of Mendocino County. It’s crisp and bone dry, yet filled with exotic, tropical flavors of guava, passionfruit and nectarine. The acidity leaves a clean, mouthwatering aftertaste.

Here’s a crisp, dry, young Sauvignon Blanc, with a little cat pee, but fortunately it’s drowned in a flood of grapefruit, lime, passionfruit and fig flavors. Crisp acidity scours the palate and gets those tastebuds whistling.

Like many top Marlborough Sauvignons, this wine has a leafy, herbal component backed by copious fruit. In this case, the wine delivers touches of nectarine and pineapple, along with a bit of chili pepper. It's medium-bodied, with a long, mouth-watering finish.

The first South African wine from this Sauvignon Blanc specialist. Has some grassy aromas that open up to show plenty of tropical fruit. In the mouth it’s clean, with good balance, and shows both ripe flavors of mango, peach and pear as well as a hint of asparagus. Complex, with a citrusy finish. Imported by Wilson Daniels Ltd.

With no oak influence at all, this stainless steel-fermented and aged young wine is crisp and clean in vibrant acidity. It shows lemongrass, Lifesaver lemon and lime, and vanilla spice flavors that are just a little sweet in the finish.

Very, very extracted, almost overwhelming in spearmint, fig and white pepper flavors, this wine leaves nothing to the imagination. It’s big, but totally dry, and has a nice, clean brisk acidity.
