Appealing nose of candied lemon peel, very aromatic, floral and exotic fruits; sweet and lemony in the mouth with a rich, ripe full set of flavors; good balance, but the wine is a bit evolved for a young vintage and takes on an overripe butterscotch set of aromas and flavors as it sits in the glass; fails to live up to the promise of the first nose. Sweet nose, spicy, earthen with a touch of honeyed fruit and nicely interwoven lemon and lemon peel scents; sweet fruit on first taste, but then the wine assumes a much more austere, dry set of flavors that border on chalkiness; these do not offend the palate, however, and the wine manages to stay in balance, even with the dry, almost claylike textures that it exhibits; certainly different. Big sweet nose with lots of nicely honeyed fruit, exotic and tropical with an interesting aroma of hazel nuts; sweet and soft in the front of the mouth, great mix of tropical fruits and lemon zest, fresh and intense with great length and a nice, subtle smoky and minerally finish. (19/20)

Dry nose laced with lots of minerals, touch of vinyl, but also loaded with perfumed and sweet fruit, fresh and focused; clean and fresh in the mouth with loads of lemon juice flavors; quite young still and not totally formed; good grip and balance, but this wine needs more bottle time to show its qualities.
