This blend of Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Viognier is delicious, delicate and floral with notes of honey and a minerally, crisp acidity. It’s soft but rich with a sweet, luscious character. The Scali family is dedicated to traditional farming and winemaking with little interference; that purity comes through in the glass.

Appealing aromas of currants, dates and nutmeg accent those of red plum, currant and toast, which carry to the palate. The fruit is pleasant, if simple, with a greenish tinge to the finish. —K.F.
