A red blend, it was very good with a slightly smoky finish.

If only this blend of seven popular varieties were drier, it would score higher. It’s crisp in acidity and complex in orange, peach, pear, honeysuckle, vanilla and mineral flavors. But the sugary finish puts it into the fruit juice category.

Raw, common and unripe, with vegetal and bizarrely sweet blackberry candy notes. A tough but serviceable blend of seven popular varieties.

The name refers to the seven varietal wines that comprise the blend. The wine itself is dryish to semi-sweet and adequate in acidity, with rich flavors of citrus fruits, peaches and oak.

Raw and gritty, with berry, sage and tobacco flavors that are acidic and rather green. It’s a blend of seven major grape varieties.

Dangerously coiffable Moscato. Subtly effervescent, apple pie with a slight key lime pie finish. Yum.

Peach Nose. Tastes of honey and apricots with the slightest bitterness. I like it.

Nectarines and vanilla hit the nose. Slightly effervescent with a sweet apple-peach palate and a tiny hint of cinnamon. Not too cloying to sip lightly on a summer afternoon.
