A bit Crozes-Hermitage-like, to tell the truth, with peppery, floral notes accenting crisp cherry-berry fruit, and slightly drying tannins on the finish. Not a typical Pinot Noir, but a nice drink nonetheless.

A rosé of Pinot Noir, Shaky Bridge's 2006 offers floral aromas along with scents of candied cherries. It's plump and juicy in the mouth, lacking complexity but making up for that with vibrant fruit. Drink now.

This Pinot Noir from the Alexandra subregion of Central Otago starts off with some interesting aromaas of mocha, scorched tomato leaf and cherry, then delivers earthy, sous bois flavors. Yet the mouthfeel is spot on, supple and silky. Drink up.

Shows lovely complexity on the nose, blending floral notes with spice and herbs. This is light on its feet, verging on delicate, yet delivers plenty of flavor. Silky tannins and a long finish suggest this has the balance to age, despite not being a massive blockbuster. Elegant. Imported by Station Imports Inc.
