Has deep, pleasing aromas of eucalyptus, earth and cream. It's a big wine in the mouth, not blowsy but pretty enthusiastic with oak—red cherry and raspberry flavors are trimmed with caramel and oak flavors that widen to a creamy-vanilla close.

Follows what has become a pretty standard Barossa winemaking style, combining superripe blackberries with lashings of cedar and vanilla. In this case, there’s a slightly roasted or cooked edge to the fruit, while some tartness on the finish helps offset the thickly textured feel on the palate. Probably at its best with rare steaks or roasts.

This six-year-old Barossa Shiraz is fully mature, offering up aromas of stewed fruit, leather and spice and creamy, supple tannins. Licorice, prune and leather flavors persist through the warm, spicy finish.

Fruit-forward, with mixed berry fruit and plums, which follow through on the finish. Fruit is particularly jammy on the nose; overall, there’s not a lot of tannins here. A drink-now Shiraz.

The best vintage yet for this full-bodied Shiraz boasts complex, pungent aromas of hickory smoke, black pepper, filled out by ripe blackberries. In the mouth it’s not quite as complex, but delivers plenty of intensity and a potent dose of supple tannins, ending crisp and clean.
