Fruity and simple, with a bubblegummy sweetness to the raspberries and cherries. Pleasant rather than complex, and not likely an ager.

Made in the modern California Chardonnay style you’ll either love or hate. It’s enormously extracted in pineapple tart, crème brûlée and honey-drizzled buttered toast flavors, and the acidity is bright and clean. The superrichness would benefit from greater control.

Dry and acidic, with sweet and sour Lifesaver pineapple and lemon candy flavors. Made in an easy-to-like style. Production was 4,500 cases, and the alcohol is a modest 13%.

A beautifully full bodied, buttery Chardonnay. Nicely balanced with acidity, so as to be without flab. For a Chardonnay, very good.
