This is a rich and concentrated wine with welcoming aromas of black fruits, bacon, African violets and soft black pepper. The mouth is as intense as one would anticipate with more concentrated dark plum and currant flavors and accents of coconut on the long finish. The tannins are gripping and the structure firm; try with hearty red meat dishes for a superb pairing.
